The watch sees a handful of improvements over its predecessor, including the ability to one touch pair to any Android powered smartphone, something that many users requested on the first go around. Other improvements include a much needed increased battery life, higher resolution display, and the water resistant SmartWatch 2 did away with the inconvenient feature of having to utilize Sony’s proprietary cable for charging. Sony’s new SmartWatch will allow users the ability to take photos, listen to music, use apps, and a whole lot more when it hits the retail scene this coming September.
