Creating a distinctive zigzag roofline, the Cubehouses, in Rotterdam are the work of the late Dutch architect Piet Blom in the 1970s. The cubes contain three floors. The lowest, triangular floor contains a living room, kitchen and dining area, and a small study/hobby space. The middle floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The top room is pyramid-shaped with windows on all sides, and can be used a lounge space, playroom, or third bedroom.
